Where to buy a Cheap Sky Digibox

Hello and welcome to my blog.

I've been a bit of an amateur satellite DIY'er for over 10 years now and have installed pretty much every Sky Satellite Receiver I've owned.

Installing or replacing a Sky Digital Digibox isn't really difficult at all and certainly has worked out a lot cheaper for me then paying a "Pro" to do it.

One thing that I'm asked most often is "Where can I buy a Cheap Sky Digibox from?", and as with most anything these days, the answer I always give is of course Ebay. So to make it easy to find a cheap Sky Digibox I've put this blog together.

Simply click on any of the links on the right hand side of the page to view a live list of Ebay auctions for Sky Digital Receivers (you can find these yourself from the main Ebay site, but this blog just makes it easier for you to find yourself a cheap sky digibox or sky plus box by putting everything in one place for you.

Installing Your Replacement Sky Digibox

Once you've got your replacement Sky Digibox, it's not just a case of plugging it in and inserting your Sky Digital Viewers card. Sky want to make sure that they know who is using Sky Digital and in order for your replacement box to work, it much be linked to your Sky Digital Viewing card.

To do this, insert your Sky card into the slot in the front of the digibox and then call Sky Customer services on 08702 404020.

They will ask you for the version and serial number of the receiver and your viewing card number. You can find these details by pressing the "Services" button on the Sky remote, then select "System Setup", then "System Details".

Sky will then send the signal to activate your card within an an hour or two.
